Junior Field Test Engineer

We are looking for a Field Test Engineer to join our OnePlus team. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating and arranging device field test resources and tasks, and following up on task progress, results validation and generating reports. You will be familiar with North America carrier product requirements, test cases, carrier specific functions and features, and network configuration. You will also assist and troubleshoot issues during testing to avoid scheduling delays.
What you'll do
Work with HQ R&D team, setup the environment for mobile smartphone testing.
Perform Network (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) Field Tests(function and performance testing) on new smartphone products which will be launched in the NA market in order to guarantee the quality and performance.
Provide test results and report issues in bug tracking system, reproduce the issue and capture necessary logs based on need.
Support development team on issue investigation, providing necessary extra information.
Continue to develop and optimize test procedures for improving efficiency on test plan execution; design and create test cases for improving test coverage Co-work with cross function teams to support product quality related tasks and assignments.
The Position will have 2 locations: Seattle, and Dallas. Please be specify your preferred location when you apply.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or relevant field.
Master's degree preferred 1-2 years Field Test experience with Mobile Network (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) is desirable but not mandatory.
Experiences in hands on device function tests, better to have experience of using test tools and equipment, QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Spirent Nomad, Datum, Android ADB commands.
Has basic knowledge of mobile product developing, testing, debugging environment Strong sense of responsibility and enterprising spirit, strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication ability, passion in testing and improving product quality work Available for travel in short notice and have valid driver’s license Native English speaker.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is must.
