Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Dyersburg, TN, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes by applying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and production issues.
Support the development and implementation of new products and processes, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct process simulations and root cause analysis to identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and quality control methodologies.
Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
