Position: Development Engineer
Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Permanent
My client, a world leading manufacturer are on the hunt for a Development Engineer!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role, you will be engaging in multiple engineering projects to develop the companies products and manufacturing processes.
Other responsibilities include:
Use CAD (SolidWorks) to design components, tools, and machine parts
Oversee process from ideas and concept, through to implementation and manufacture
Evaluation and proving of new product specifications.
Provide a problem solving resource to the operations, helping resolve manufacturing issues
Experience or Qualifications –
Degree educated or HNC level trained in Mechanical Engineering
Strong CAD experience (preferably SOLIDWORKS)
Strong statistical and data analysis skills
Relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Design & Build environments.
