£50k plus Competitive Package

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Safety /Technical Compliance Manager to join this innovative business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operations adhere to industry standards and regulations, particularly maintaining its AA+ unannounced BRC Certification and Soil Association Organic Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
Lead all 3rd party audits
Lead and mentor the technical compliance team to enhance skills and performance.
Develop and implement formal policies and procedures.
Utilise Lean C.I. tools to identify and address root causes of compliance issues.
Conduct regular audits and prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions..Experience:

A minimum of 4 years experience in a technical or compliance-related leadership role within food / fresh produce
Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Degree in Food Science or equivalent.
HACCP Level 3 certification.
Food Safety Level 3 certification.
Trained as a Lead Auditor for BRC Version 8 or conversion to Version 9.
Training in Pesticide Residue & Regulation.
Intermediate knowledge of Microbiology.
Pest Awareness Training.
Integrity Training.
Demonstrated ability to lead courageously and positively influence colleagues.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Application Process:
