We are currently supporting a partnered Secondary School in Southend, to find a passionate Drama Teacher to join their team for September 2024.

Position Overview: As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic and personal development of our students. You will have the opportunity to design and implement engaging curriculum that fosters creativity, expression, and collaboration. Whether it's directing a school production, guiding students in improvisation exercises, or exploring dramatic literature, you will inspire a love for the performing arts while honing essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theater Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
QTS / PGCE
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting
Proficiency in directing, acting, and various theatrical techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
