Trainee Quantity Surveyor

£22,000 to £30,000 per annum with opportunities to increase in time.

TS Recruitment are actively working with a Regional Main Contractor based in Warrington who are looking to recruit a Trainee / Graduate Quantity Surveyor.
Benefits
Basic salary circa £22-28,000 per annum
Potential to increase earning and qualify for car allowance.
8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
25days holiday plus bank holidays
Pension up to 5% employercontributions
Death in service 3x annual salary

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Trainee Quantity Surveyor:
Work closely with the Commercial Director and Quantity Surveyors to assist with commercial duties.
Carry out site valuations and variations.
Check and approve subcontractor payments.
Check contracts and all associated paperwork.
Negotiate and order materials and plant for site.
Complete cost value reports.
Assist in completing final accounts.
Ensure costs are monitored on site and kept within budget.
Complete and upload all necessary paperwork on internal systems.

Knowledge/Experience:
Studying or completed a degree in Quantity Surveying
No experience required.
Good IT and numerical skills.
Full UK driving license
