Play Worker

Hours : Term time - 15 hours, 3pm to 6pm. School Holidays - 35 hours a week, 9am - 5pm

We need a practitioner who:

* Is passionate about working with children and looking to build on current skills, knowledge, and abilities.

* Assess and support children with additional needs and ensure appropriate risk assessments, planning and structures are in place for ensuring children’s needs are being met.

* Work within our existing team to improve outcomes for children and ensure the continuing improvement in the quality of the service.

* You will be committed to providing a high-quality service for children in the early years and older age ranges from 4 to 15 years. provide an environment enabling them to play, learn, develop, and thrive.

* Can demonstrate excellent skills in supporting children’s extended learning.

* Lead and develop a strong team that Is highly motivated and enjoys working with children and young people.

* Can work with parents, families, schools and external agencies, supporting all children in the Out of School setting.

* Work as part of the wider a wider community centre

This is an opportunity to work in a diverse community setting supporting children and their family’s wellbeing and enabling children to learn and grow together.
