Kingsley Consulting is engaged with a well-established and market leading Waterproofing Product & Systems business to recruit an Area Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Salary: Up to £50,000 with an attractive Bonus (OTE - £65k+) 
Location: Remote Based (With Travel to North London and surrounding areas)

Client Overview:
Our client partner is one of the UK’s leading Manufacturers and Suppliers of Flat Roofing Waterproofing Systems, Metal Fabrication, Green Roofing Systems and Solar PV. They boast a fantastic pedigree in their sector and are very well established with a fantastic culture within their team.  
 
This exciting Area Sales Manager position is exclusively focused on technical & specification sales within the roofing sector. With a primary emphasis on building pipeline and driving business through specification opportunities across all of the companies work package offerings in Roofing, Waterproofing, Solar PV, Green Roofing systems and bespoke metal fabrications.
 
Collaborating with Architects and Specifiers and other key decision makers to understand project requirements and obtain specification, this role is unique in the fact that there will be no front-end contractor development responsibilities required.    

Your duties will include:
Generate specification and project pipeline across your geographical area of responsibility, focusing on the Roofing, Waterproofing, Solar PV, Green Roofs and Metal Fabrications market sectors
Identify new client opportunities and work to develop a strategy to maximise these by arranging and delivering technical CPD seminars to promote the companies range of products and solutions
Effective use of company CRM systems to track and manage opportunity pipeline
Work in collaboration with the wider Technical, Sales and Marketing teams to assist across new opportunities and servicing of existing customer portfolio.  
Candidate:
Experience of working in the Construction Industry, selling via Specification is a key. Strong knowledge of Roofing/Waterproofing Products would be highly desirable, however If you have relevant experienced gained in other sectors incorporating Building Envelope/ Building Products then that would similarly be of interest.
Strong Technical knowledge and previous experience in delivering CPD presentations
Proven capability of specification route to market, collaborating effectively with Architects and Specifiers in the region
Strong communicator and ability to articulate professionally at all levels
Self-driven, target orientated individual with a strong determination to achieve results
