Here at Atherstone, we have a team of around 580 colleagues. We produce Sandwiches, Wraps, Rolls, Bircher pots, and Toasties for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Aldi, Costa, and many more.
Contract Type: Permanent - Fulltime
Shift Pattern/ Time: 22:00 - 06:00, 5/7 days
Rate: £12.27 per hour
Location: Greencore, Carlyon Road Industrial Estate, 7, Carlyon Rd, Atherstone CV9 1LQ
(Please note this is a full-time role only)
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment within production areas to the required hygiene standard.
Duties will include: Carry out day to day disassembling and assembling of production machinery to enable the hygiene team to carry out cleaning.
Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel
Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly
Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager
Carry out hygiene activities when needed in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity
Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift planWhat we're looking for
Proficient in performing general warehouse hygiene duties, including the assembly and disassembly of machinery for thorough cleaning
Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards
Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department
Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing
