A leading and highly reputable business are looking for a Graduate Level Business Development Executive to join their growing team on a full time, permanent role which is mainly remote working with once fortnightly meetings in their Birmingham City Centre office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ideally degree educated, interested in merges and acquisitions and has experience working to KPI’s or in a sales focused role.
This varied and demanding role will primarily involve:
* Identifying opportunities through media and online sources and ensuring these are logged accordingly
* Client liaison including follow up and debriefing
* Presentation planning and preparation
* Support and participation in training sessions including business development best practice
* Team support and mobilisation
* Coordination of tender responses
As a confident and proactive team player, the successful applicant will require the following skills and attributes:
* Ideally degree educated (or similar)
* Prior commercial experience in industries such as sales, recruitment or wider Business Development
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
* Ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbally
* Happy to work autonomously
* Strong IT skills
* Strong commercial awareness
* Attention to detail with a methodical approach
