Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing class leading support to the MOD.
Role: Aircraft Technician
Location: Yeovilton, Somerset.
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Competitive
What you'll be doing:
Assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be key part of our flight-line operations, including the preparation of aircraft for the upcoming days flying, conducting see-in and see-off procedures as well as being authorised to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft, as well as:
undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance and completing all documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
There will be some general duties as required, including (but not limited to), driving, stores duties, housekeeping and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE or SOM.
Requirements:
Aircraft Engineering experience
Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
Driving license
Recognised Aircraft apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalentBenefits:
