Job Description
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Director of IT to organize
and control project activities through communicating risks, opportunities and
current state of the project. Managing and coordinating meetings, resources,
equipment and information is a major part of the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and manage team goals and new information
Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
Manage projects with PM software such as Jira and Smartsheet.
Accountable for preparing and reviewing project memos, meeting minutes and emails
Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary
Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
Manage, control and coordinate project schedule and implementation to make sure the project is completed on time
Accountable for ensuring clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
Coordinate project team members to keep workflow on track
Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
Performs other duties as assigned
Support the LIMS reference data team if or when needed.
Travels as required
