Life assurance.Our client is a highly regarded private hospital in Nottinghamshire. They've recently opened a new 5-bedded critical care unit and are committed to continuous growth. The hospital is equipped with private ensuite rooms, theatres, a Critical Care Unit, Outpatients, day case beds, an endoscopy suite, on-site MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, physiotherapy, and pharmacy.

As a Pre Assessment Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Working in a fast-paced nurse-led pre-assessment service alongside two lead anaesthetists.
Assessing pre-operative patients and ensuring they are optimised for surgery.
Dealing with blood results and ECGs.
Providing exemplary care for patients visiting the hospital for surgery.
Carrying out Electronic Pre-Operative Assessments (full training will be provided).
Working as part of a wider MDT team including surgeons, anaesthetists, and consultants.The ideal candidate for the Pre Assessment Nurse role will:

Be a qualified nurse with experience in Pre-Assessment or have a pre-assessment qualification.
Hold a valid NMC pin with no conditions or restrictions.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be keen to develop your patient assessment, decision-making, and clinical skills.
