Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs. As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
Operating machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures
Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal output
Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure proper functioning
Conducting quality checks on finished products to maintain quality standards
Following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Assisting with other tasks as needed to support the production processRequirements:
Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a similar role preferred
Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery effectively
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
