We are looking for a new Vehicle Recycling Operative for a busy scrap yard in the Windermere Road area of Hartlepool
This is an all weathers, hands on role where you play a part in the breakdown and recycling of accident damaged cars.
You will be working in all weathers and using hand OR power tools to drain the fluids from cars, remove the battery and take off the wheels.
It's a production line environment and due to the nature of the role, you may be mucky or wet (depending on the weather).
Its Monday - Friday, its full time, and a long-term agency role.
What skills are needed?
To be considered - you need to have the following:
Strong mechanical knowledge of cars (ideally you have some mechanical skills / qualifications).
Physically fit and this can be heavy.
Someone with a good awareness of health and safety.
A person who is not put off by working in all weathers.
Reliable, able to turn up and respectful.
A person who can pass a drug and alcohol test (this is mandatory and part of the recruitment process).In return for your hard work, this role offers you:
£12.82 p/hour plus OT paid at x1.5.
40 hours pay per week.
Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment LTD.
Lots of support from a great site manager.
