CNC Press-Brake Operator
Based - Biggleswade
Temp - Perm
Monday to Thursday 7.00 a.m. till 4.00 p.m.
Friday 7.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m.
40-hour week. Plus, overtime.
Pay £13- £17.00 D.O.E
We at Major Recruitment are recruiting for a set and run presses to produce both cosmetic and non- cosmetic pressings to an agreed quality standard and component drawing, utilising machinery, and equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible. You will need good understanding of Sheet Metal processes.
Skills/Requirements of the press brake operator/setter/programmer
Experienced in programming and running the following Press-Brakes, Amada & Durma.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and use your experience to advise on the best way possible to manufacture the product for the internal customer.
Excellent communication skills
Main Duties of the Press-brake Operator /Setter/Programmer:
Produce good quality components to the required hourly rate
Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings
Run, bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
Use a CNC controller to input information into machine.
Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions
Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometres, dial indicators, callipers, and gauges.
Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminium & regular steel )If you have the skills & experience and available immediately , please apply now
