Front of House Assistant | Crawley
Casual (zero hours contract)
The Hawth Theatre in Crawley is looking for enthusiastic food and beverage or retail staff to join our Front of House department to assist in the running of a busy programme of shows and events.
Duties of the role:
To maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for all customers attending the venue
To provide an excellent level of customer service to all users of The Hawth Theatre
To assist with the smooth running of performances and functions at the venue
To maintain a safe and clean environment for all visitors
To proactively sell and prepare products as requiredThe Person
The candidate must have food preparation experience
Retail & Customer Service Experience
Previous Bar experience would be a strong advantage
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly & cohesively with the public at all levels
A considerate, friendly, warm & approachable temperament
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
Access to private transport is required due to the location of the venue and shift patterns
For service of alcohol, Front of House Assistants must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Be able to start work from 4pm/4.30pm, with occasional earlier times
