As the L&D Coordinator you will successfully and competently co-ordinate and deliver site L&D operational interventions, projects, and development programmes to ensure all employees can work safely, having been provided with a robust L&D offering of the highest standard.

Our L&D team utilise their specialist knowledge and stakeholder relationships to ensure that the onsite teams have the right skills to confidently and accurately fulfil their role.

You will be responsible for planning required operational on the job training, compliance training, procedural training, and assisting operational departments in identifying training requirements for our factory of over 900 colleagues.

Key Accountabilities:

* Fully utilise the capability of the in house LMS system (Cranswick Core), generic L&D inbox and training calendar.

* Support employees with the completion of all Cranswick Compliance Training in designated timeframe.

* Provide support and guidance to operational SMEs in the delivery of classroom and on the job training and associated sign offs in line with Group policy.

* Plan, deliver and record Welcome Days for all new starters to the site including updating the LMS with required information.

* Deliver and facilitate relevant classroom training delivery for operational, technical and development programmes.

* Input accurate information into the annual calendar of classroom training delivery, submitting required training hours to the L&D Delivery Specialist for sign off for all departments.

* Develop work plans for relevant departments, proposed hours, refreshers required, new starter and leaver data and ensuring sign off takes place within designated timeframe.

* Support the ongoing development of competency frameworks for all roles – including new starters, L2 Operatives, providing employees with a clear pathway for their personal development.

* Maintain suitable communication channels for the delivery of all training information to employees.

* Maintain the central automated training database- training records, digital certificates, compliance, and procedural renew dates and audit information, ensuring all data is up to date and accurate.

* Co-manage a site project with a member of the HR team to deliver improvements across site in areas such as Onboarding, Reward & Recognition, Appraisals and Talent, Health and Wellbeing, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

* Experience of working in an L&D or Training environment.

* Training qualification (or equivalent demonstrated experience)

* Training delivery and facilitation skills

* Able to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

* Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment and with a varied workload.

* Strong interpersonal skills.

* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

* IT, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (e-mail, Word, Excel, Access, Project, etc), PowerBi, Power Apps and SharePoint preferable - but not essential.

* Experience of using and recording training data through an LMS.
