Responsibilities as the Hire Desk Controller:
Build and maintain customer relationships and maximise sales opportunities where needed.
Dealing with on/off hires of plant equipment
Deal with credit/invoice queries
Maintain all paperwork is up to date and filed correctly
Resolve any queries or claims that arise in a professional manner
Requirements as the Hire Desk Controller:
PC literate
Excellent communication skills with a clear telephone manner
Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks in a sales environment.
A confident and flexible attitude
Previous knowledge of access or lifting equipment would be an advantage
Competency in Syrinx is preferred but not essential
To be successful as a Hire Desk Controller you will have worked as an assistant manager, hire controller, tool hire manager, hire desk controller, trade counter assistant, tool hire manager or any related job titles.
