Our client is an extremely established manufacturer in Coventry, that has proudly become a market leader in crafting delicious baked goods. From flapjacks to muffins, gingerbread to cookies, and an array of cakes and traybakes, their products are synonymous with quality and taste. Operating from a BRC A grade facility, they supply their delectable treats to Foodservice and Retail customers across the UK and Europe.

Major Recruitment are extremely excited to announce we have partnered with a fantastic client to recruit a Production and Material Scheduler to join their dynamic and innovative team on a full-time permanent basis.

As the role of Planner and Material Scheduler you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes.

Key responsibilities of Planner and Material Scheduler:

Creating and managing production schedules to meet demand and optimise efficiency.
Coordinating materials, analysing data, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
Facilitating communication and collaboration between various departments to ensure seamless production flow.
Proactively identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks in the production process.
Maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.What you'll need to be a successful Planner and Material Scheduler:

Proven experience in production scheduling and planning within a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Experience in coordinating materials and conducting data analysis to optimize production processes.
Meticulous attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.What's in it for you?
