A one-stop-shop that manufactures high precision components for an array of industries across the UK and overseas, is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer to expand their current team of 5 engineers.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
Providing electrical/mechanical maintenance for site facilities, Foundry equipment and machinery, including furnaces
Adhering to PPM/TPM schedules and responsive reaction to breakdowns
Reading and working from electrical / panel drawings, fault finding down to a component level
PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults
Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with bias to heavy industry / manufacturing
Have an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley)
On offer -
A basic salary of £35-40K
A weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
Overtime paid at time + 1/3 midweek and Saturday, time + ½ Sunday
33 days holiday, including bank holidays
Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from Bridgnorth, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton, Redditch, Smethwick and all surrounding areas
