We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
Calculate and process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis.
Ensure accuracy of payroll data by reviewing timesheets, attendance records, and deductions.
Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
Prepare and distribute payroll checks or direct deposits.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in payroll administration is a plus.
