Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist II to be based Austin, TX.
Facility management is focused upon the efficient and effective delivery of support services for the organizations that it serves - organizational function which integrates people, place and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Move coordination
Furniture & equipment installation coordination
Review of furniture and equipment specifications
Review of proposals and quotes
Review of invoices
Review of furniture layouts
Coordinate with vendors for proposals and quotes
Works under general supervision.
Participates with other team members to achieve common goals.
Troubleshoots problems of low complexity and recommends appropriate action.
Effectively contributes to Facilities Management team goals.
Participates in the development of solutions.
Perform all activities necessary to deliver facilities-related and mission support-related materials, supplies and equipment for customer supported sites.
Performs facilities management tasks and operations of the assigned properties.
Coordinates the maintenance work and liaises closely with external contractors to ensure that the work is completed to standard.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
