Responsible for analyzing, organizing and coordinating the regulatory and accreditation activities in support of the Medical and Allied Health Staff credentialing and privileging processes for PHHS.
-Must have a Bachelor Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or a related field plus four years of medical staff services experience
Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
-Prefer Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
-Must be detailed oriented and have proven analytical skills.
-Must possess the ability to follow through on problems for resolution.
-Must be able to interact with personnel at all levels.
-Must be proficient with personal computer, spreadsheet and word processing software. Must have a working knowledge of hospital and managed care accreditation standards, medical/allied staff credentialing, privileging, appointment and medical licensure requirements.
-Must be able to provide assistance with issues of sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
