The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is a growing law firm that is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Provide frequent client contact in order to stay current with treatment plans, etc.
Request medical records, billing records, and imaging records for clients
Assist litigation paralegals with obtaining subpoena records, health insurance liens, etc.
Run ISO and EAMS
Manage case file once the case reaches the litigation stage
Track and manage all medical and workers comp liens
Assist litigation paralegals with litigation tasks
Communicate with clients regarding treatment, case status, and property damage
Assist attorneys with tasks as needed
Assist paralegals with obtaining signatures from client on various documents like releases, authorizations, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1 year of legal assistant experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
Analytical thinker and problem-solver
Outstanding organizational, time management, and administrative skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills (verbal. listening and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
CASEpeer legal management software experience a plus
Team-oriented and independently capable
A strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law
