Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, conveyor systems, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to prevent equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions and ensure operational continuity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair work.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to maintenance calls outside of regular working hours.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in challenging environments.
