We are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead the team in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety in the removal and management of asbestos materials.
As the Asbestos Supervisor you will be required to oversee all aspects of asbestos removal projects, ensuring that all activities comply with current legislation and codes of practice. The role demands a meticulous approach to project management, from initial site assessment to the safe disposal of hazardous materials.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervising the live asbestos removal projects
* Review job specifications, inspect work site, and communicate updates to further Management.
* Effectively manage site paperwork (Site Diary, Completion paperwork and waste consignment notes)
* Examine workers' equipment, such as respirator systems, air evacuation and filtration systems, and air quality testing devices, to ensure that they meet company and government safety standards.
* Monitor and inspect the quality of work during project.
To be considered for the role you will require:
* ARCA (or equivalent) Licensed Asbestos Supervisor Training.
* Must have recent supervisory experience in asbestos removal.
* Must have all asbestos certificates currently in date
* Must have the ability to direct a team as well as mentor and motivate staff.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
