Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead who are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.
Working within the IT Infrastructure team, you will help support a range of modern technologies, plus other bespoke, industry-specific solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Server and storage administration
* Providing 3rd line support to the team
* Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and management
* Authentication and application management
* Managing the Cloud presence
* Testing and delivering User Experience improvements
Key Skills Required
* Experience of supporting Windows operating systems (server, desktop, dual-boot)
* OS and Application patching / WSUS
* Physical system commissioning skills - server, desktop, and peripherals
* Experience of supporting Linux workstations
* Systems Monitoring – Grafana / Zabbix
* Experience supporting M365/O365 suite.
* Active Directory and/or Azure infrastructure management experience
* Understand network support essentials - DHCP, DNS, routing etc
* Messaging – Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments
* Backup experience
