My client is currently looking for Warehouse Operatives for a role based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This is an ongoing role with potential for a permanent position with the company once complete.

The position of Picker/Assembler is responsible for the day to day running of the warehouse. This includes but is not limited to; the receipting, checking, recording and storing of incoming inventory from approved suppliers. Kit building, picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders. General warehouse duties.

This job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.

Position Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, check, record and store incoming stock.
Calibration of testing equipment.
Pick, check and Pack customer and Collector orders.
Dispatch orders and book courier collections.
Carry out annual stock checks.
General Warehouse duties to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
Maintain documentation on IT programs including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems
Assist in other parts of the business when requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers,
clients and customers
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Strong keyboard and typing skills.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential.Benefits:

Shift pattern: Days, 8:00am to 4:00pm, flexible i.e 7:00am to 3:00pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm

Pay rate: £12.00ph
