Employee Relations Advisor

Reporting into the Employee Relations Manager, the ER Advisor will provide a responsive, fair and consistent service, in line with company specific policies and procedures. You will support Managers with full case management and administrative support on ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, restructures, Consultations, TUPE and more. This is a 13 Month Fixed Term Contract, with a requirement to be in our Warwick HQ 1-2 days per week.

What you'll do:

Ensure line managers are clear on how to conduct meetings, including advice on meeting preparation and how meetings should be chaired and concluded
Case management of people related issues such as: disciplinaries, performance management, employment tribunals, grievance and absence management.
Effective co-ordination and support of Consultations and TUPE situations.
Providing advice and guidance on disciplinary and welfare cases, capability, grievance, and coaching managers where appropriate.
Ensure all personnel records are maintained and secure, complying with obligations under the Data Protection Act
Ensure HR and Employment Law knowledge is up to date and advice is given is in line with law and best practice.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, i.e. Occupational Health, to provide advice, support and recommendations. Who you are:

You will have Employee Relations experience gained in a fast paced environment. You must be able to manage a high and varied case load, coupled with experience involving Consultations & TUPE projects.

Key Requirements:

Able to provide remote ER support for a multi-site operation
Experience of providing HR ER advice in line with relevant policies and legislation, ideally in a case management set up.
Well organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage high volume of case work and queries to meet deadlines
Good working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application in the workplace
CIPD qualified or working towards
Happy to travel to other Telent sites on occasion. What we offer:
