£16.70 per hour (PAYE)

£20 per hour (CIS/LTD)

THIS IS A TEMP ROLE, WITH A MINIMUM 2 MONTHS WORK

THIS WILL BE THICK HEAVY WELDING, 12MM WELDS - 4mm multi run

A great short term opportunity with a client who specialise in lifting equipment. the requirements is for 2 months with the view to last all summer.

As a Welder you will;
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment
- Welders will be required to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- As a welder, you will occasionally fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
- A welder is responsible for conducting inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards
- Operate hand and power tools necessary for welding and fabrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG
- Strong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding and fabrication
- Mechanical knowledge to understand how components fit together
- Ability to work with sheet metal and other materials commonly used in welding
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate welds and precise measurements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
