About the Role: A skilled Civil Infrastructure Technician - Civils 3D with expertise in Civil 3D is sought for a challenging opportunity within a hugely impressive and world renowned Engineering consultancy in Manchester. Civil Infrastructure Technician - Civils 3D Key Responsibilities: As a key member of this consultancy, you will be responsible for the production and management of drawings, BIM models, and technical reports for large-scale multi-disciplinary projects in the UK and worldwide.

Civil Infrastructure Technician - Civils 3D key duties will include:

Undertaking civil infrastructure design and masterplanning, covering concepts through to construction, with a focus on drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks, and utility co-ordination.
Managing the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs, along with the compilation of BIM Execution Plans.
Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
Contributing to the planning of team workload.
Mentoring and assisting more junior Technicians.Skills & Experience: To thrive in this Civil Infrastructure Technician - Civils 3D role, you will need:

A technical background in infrastructure design, showcasing a specialised skill set in a core discipline such as Highways or Sustainable Drainage.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with additional proficiency in MicroDrainage considered advantageous.
Demonstrable working knowledge of BIM processes and standards such as PAS1192-2.
The ability to undertake design tasks with minimal supervision, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with all team members.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
