WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR
BASED LIVINGSTON – SALARY COMPETITVE PLUS BENS – 3 MONTH CONTRACT

Based in Livingston, ESS Recruit’s client comprises of a group of European companies engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of analytical systems, life science equipment and laboratory instruments with operations dating back to 1920.  Now part of a global multinational business, their gas chromatography division is looking to recruit a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join the expanding team.  Please note this role is initially offered on a 3-month fixed term contract basis.
Reporting to the Head of R&D & NPI/Production Manager you will have full control of the warehouse area, ensuring the area is set up correctly, orderly and to a safe standard.   You will be receiving and processing of incoming stock, picking orders from the warehouse stock and managing them in MRP system with responsible for the shipments in and out of the company.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving parts from suppliers and production to receipt into stock.
Organising of inward inspection. Setting up locations, using proper storage and tracking inventory through cycle counts. 
Physical kitting and issuing parts to production. Issuing parts in MRP system Epicor
Return NCR materials suppliers.
Work with appropriate parties to investigate stock discrepancies and ensure process accuracy.
Supporting and preparing the pack out of products, spares and other shipments.
Organising and tracking export & import shipments, knowledge of customs and documentation an advantage.
Reporting shortages, faults and discrepancies to wider team. Communicating with R&D and Production, Procurement of goods in and out, and if there are any delays.
Complying with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. You will need to have previous Warehouse and Logistics experience and be able to interpret technical drawings for incoming inspections.  You should also be proficient in MRP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.  Lastly, they need someone capable of working independently, a self-motivator with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
