Customer Relations Executive

Join our client's team as the friendly face of their company, providing customers with a personalised and efficient experience that keeps them coming back for more. Your role is crucial in ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations, driving the business forward with reliable service.

Essential Functions:

* Process customer orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring they are acknowledged within agreed timeframes.

* Keep a close eye on customer orders, maintaining an open order backlog and staying updated with inputs from Procurement and Planning Teams.

* Collaborate with various internal teams—Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, and Transport—to fulfill customer delivery requirements.

* Work closely with the Finance team to address any credit queries from customers.

* Handle customer complaints professionally, acting as a bridge between customers and internal teams to find swift resolutions.

* Maintain regular communication with external Sales Teams, keeping them informed of any pertinent issues or changes.

* Keep customer profiles up to date with specific delivery instructions and contact details, providing visibility to the Customer Service Team.

* Reach out to customers regularly, offering assistance and building strong relationships.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Provide timely information such as lead times, delivery updates, and stock availability to customers and Sales Teams upon request.

* Distribute pricelists to customers as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor/Customer Service Manager.

* Keep customers informed of any updates or changes to our services or products.

* Undertake any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Education:

* HNC in an administrative discipline would be beneficial.

Experience:

* Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a track record of meeting challenging deadlines.

* Previous experience in Customer Service, whether in telephony or customer-facing roles.

* Experience in Manufacturing is preferred.

Skills:

* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

* Additional language skills would be advantageous.

* Strong organizational and planning abilities.

* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.

* Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
