Food Production Operator

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Production Operative to support our client based in Blaenavon area.Due to growth of the business, they are looking for an additional member of staff to join the team
We are looking for individuals who relish the opportunity to work as part of a team in a factory environment. There is also an opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Successful candidates will be expected to work Days or Nights 12 hours shift or Days Nights Afternoons 8 hours shift:
Days Monday till Thursday 6.30am-6.30pm £11.97 p/h
Nights Monday till Thursday 6.30pm-6.30am £13.76 p/h
Days Monday till Friday 6.30am-2.30pm £11.59 p/h
Afternoons Monday till Friday 2.30pm-10.30pm £12.57 p/h
Nights Monday till Friday 10.30pm-6.301m £13.33 p/h

Duties include:

Packing product into containers
Labelling, palletising
Complying with all company policies and procedures
Counting
Loading palletsRequirements:

Must have basic English Literacy and Basic Numeracy Skills
Work well in a team and or own
Good understanding of food hygiene
Previous factory experience is not essential
Good communication skills
Flexibility / adaptability
Ability to show initiative
