Falcon Green currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a market leading principal contractor that is renowned for delivering complex infrastructure in the data centre sector across mainland Europe and beyond. As Health & Safety Lead you will have two hyperscale data centre projects under your remit and report directly to Senior Management and a visiting Director of Health & Safety.
The ideal candidate ideally will have a proven track record of managing large scale data centre or life sciences projects on time and within budget, but candidates with a strong commercial or industrial background will also be considered. The data centre sector is the fastest growing sector in construction at present, there is no better time to be getting into the sector. This coupled with the increased emphasis that this client has put on their data centre division, makes an excellent opportunity for a career driven Health & Safety professional to fast track their career.
Please note, the successful candidate will receive flights, accommodation, living away allowance and travel expenses.
Health & Safety Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining core areas of expertise and imparting knowledge to aid the development, training and mentoring of others.
* Providing health and safety advice to site teams to assist them in achieving business objectives.
* Maintaining awareness of business implications of own activities to improve the quality of technical or business recommendations.
* Creating, developing and maintaining a range of internal/external relationships to maximise impact of expertise and knowledge to influence the quality of decision making.
* Overseeing health, safety and welfare management system development, implementation and audit. Health, safety and welfare performance monitoring and measurement.
Health & Safety Manager Requirements
* Minimum 3-4 years as a manager
* Data centre, life sciences, commercial or industrial background
* Relevant third level qualifications
* Can do attitude and methodical approach to work life
* Strong organisation skills
* Excellent communication skills
