For their growing team, we are searching for an experienced Account Manager who will cover the northern part of the Netherlands. Client Details Our client is a global leader in innovative orthopedic medical devices. For their growing team, we are searching for an experienced Account Manager who will cover the northern part of the Netherlands. Description In this role, you will be reporting in to the National Sales Manager. You will be responsible for Knee and Shoulder techniques and cover approximately 15 accounts, splitting into hospitals and private clinics. On top of your sales goals, you will be expected to spend time in the operating room, building relationships and assisting in certain procedures. On your team, there are also Product Specialists who focus solely on operations but your contribution in the OR will also be essential toward achieving the targets, networking with key stakeholders and establishing a solid territory plan. The region is a successful one, where surgeons are already used to using company products; therefore, in addition to maintaining the success, you will also be asked to introduce new techniques and increase the variety of solutions used in your territory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Achieving sales targets and developing market potential in the area; Expanding and maintaining customer portfolio and relationships through acquisition; Introducing and presenting new surgical procedures and offering detailed medical and technical explanations about the products; Provide training and clinical lessons to (potential) customers; Drawing up and following up on offers and conducting sales negotiations with decision makers; Continuous customer analysis and documentation using the CRM system as well as presentations. Profile Our client is searching for a commercial profile. Even though you will have clinical responsibilities, your main tasks will be to establish a solid account plan, build trusted relationships with decision-makers and make sure the sales performance of the region is strong. You will be expected to have experience and a track record in deal negotiations. Requirements include but are not limited to: Thinking and acting commercially based on opportunities in the market, focused on achieving commercial targets and expanding the customer base; Strong communication and presentation skills; Intention to become an expert in company products and develop industry knowledge; Fluency in Dutch and English.
