Platform Engineering Team Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join my client, a leading European Energy provider, as a Platform Engineering Team Manager for an initial 3-6 Month contract in Baar, Switzerland.
Candidates wishing to be considered will have recent experience of managing a small engineering team on Data Centre and Cloud Migrations and possess strong hands-on infrastructure skills. Your leadership skills will play a fundamental part in the growth across the organization as you will essentially be shaping the technical direction and ensuring the seamless operation of our clients platforms.
This role sits within a wider team responsible for Secure Infrastructure, the Cyber Threat Defense Team, Cybersecurity Risk Management team and will be working closely with key stakeholders who form part of Global IT.
The successful platform Engineering Team Manager will have the technical ability to lead the team in architectural decisions, best practices and efficient development methodologies as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and integrations that align with business objectives. You will need to drive the design and evolution of the platform architecture to ensure scalability and have the initiative to optimize and implement solutions to accommodate increasing demands. In addition to, but not limited to; Project Planning and execution, Quality Assurance and Risk Management (Identifying risks and create strategies to mitigate them).
This position is based on site, 3 days a week, in Baar, Switzerland with the remainder working remotely therefore, to be considered you must live within a commutable distance and hold the appropriate eligibility to work within Switzerland.
Day rate 960 CHF (Swiss Francs) per day

Duration: 3-6 Months initially with an Opportunity to go permanent
