Goods In Supervisor

Hours: Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.30pm with occasional Saturday as overtime (not compulsory)
Salary: up to £30k DOE

A well-established and highly successful Online Distribution is looking for a Goods In Supervisor to join a small team to support the operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling, team management, and warehouse operations.

Duties:

* Manage the goods-in process, including receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods

* Partly hands on position managing a team to unload furniture from containers manually.

* Also unloading and loading trailers via Forklift Truck for inter site stock transfers (does not need a licence).

* The product currently is floor stacked and the position will be responsible for unloading containers and arranging products in the warehouse making spaces for future containers.

* Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.

* Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.

* Managing a team of 10-15 team members.

Skills and Experience:

* Experience of handling heavy bulky items would help and working in a fast-paced environment

* Proven experience in warehouse management, including goods-in procedures

* Good people management skills

* Self-driven and organised

* Good communication

* Able to work as a team player
