Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our dynamic team. This role involves the transportation of containers between various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. As a Class 1 Driver , you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

* Container Haulage: Transport containers to and from designated locations, including ports, warehouses, and customer sites.

* Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on your vehicle to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.

* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies to guarantee safe driving practices.

* Time Management: Efficiently manage your time to ensure deliveries are completed within the scheduled timeframes.

* Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.

* Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

* Problem Solving: Handle any issues or delays that arise during your route, finding solutions to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

* License: Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.

* Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in container haulage or similar driving roles.

* Knowledge: Familiarity with container ports and haulage regulations is a plus.

* Skills: Excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

* Fitness: Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including loading and unloading containers when necessary.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work either day or night shifts, with a preference for candidates available for flexible scheduling.
