We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a Blue CSCS card and have hands-on experience in installing Balconies, Soffits, Deckingv and snagging balconies . This role offers the opportunity to become a long term member of a successful team who has various projects in London, once this job has been cResponsibilities
* Read and interpret technical drawings to determine the specifications for steel structures and balcony installation & snagging
* Measure, cut, and shape steel components to fit the specific project requirements.
* Assemble and install steel components, including baloconies, soffits & decking, using appropriate tools and equipment.
* Inspect and test installed components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
Qualifications
* Possession of a Blue CSCS card.
* Proven experience in steel fitting and balcony installation.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings .
* Strong knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, and techniques for steel fitting and balcony installation.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.
Day-to-day
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute steel fitting balcony installation projects.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout the project.
* Communicate effectively with team members and site management to coordinate tasks and timelines.
* Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in steel fitting and decking installation.
Must have there own tools, including cordless Nut gun, grinder, impact driver, and basic hand tools
