Building Surveyor

I am working with an organisation who are in search of a Response Surveyor to join their team in the Hampshire area. You will be spending 3-4 days of the week completing site inspections and meeting contractors, with the remainder of the week working from home to complete any admin. They will provide you with all of the required equipment and the most up-to-date systems available to help you complete the job to the best of your ability.

The salary for this Response Surveyor role is £40,000 - £43,500.

Responsibilities of the Response Surveyor role:

Taking responsibility for repair services requests
Undertaking appropriate investigations and raising repair orders as necessary
Diagnose issues and report to relevant job titles
Inspect works and approve invoices or valuations
Overseeing minor works, refurbishment work, voids and general surveying
Advise on construction defects
Skills needed in the Response Surveyor role:

Good organisation and self-management skillset
Extensive experience within repairs surveying
Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord
Damp & Mould experience is essential
Great communication skills
Good understanding IT as you will be using a tablet for your work
