Forklift Operative

Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client based in Langport. They are looking for Forklift Operative to join a friendly team. Temp - Perm position to start as soon as possible.

Operating forklift to support production activities.

Responsibilities include:

Safely operating forklift to maintain efficiency and food safety standards.
Adhering to site Health and Safety regulations while operating the forklift.
Keeping the yard and equipment organised and clean.
Monitoring and managing stock levels in the yard.
Recording product information accurately using the scale system.
Properly disposing of materials as required.
Safely loading trailers for transport.
Effective communication with abattoir management and other staff members on site.

Knowledge and Experience: Essential:

Valid forklift certification
Basic computer skills
Eagerness to learn
Ability to work well in a team

Desirable:

Previous forklift experience

Schedule:

Day shift-
Monday to Friday
6am to Finish, with flexibility to meet business needs. Possibility of overtime as well.Rate: £13.50 per hour
