Production Team Leader

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for someone with Production Team Leader experience to work for a well-established business in Telford. In return for your experience, you will receive an hourly rate of up to £13.50 per hour (dependant on experience), as well as overtime opportunities which are paid at premium rate.

The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone who has experience within the sheet metal industry and is familiar with machinery including Punch Presses and Press Brakes, but they would consider someone from a slightly different industry.

As a Production Team Leader, you will work alongside the Shift Manager and report to the Production Manager. This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing a team of 15 - 25 staff.

As a Production Team Leader, you will be required to:

Ensure that the products meet the required customer standard
Get involved with internal and external audits
Work closely with the Shift Manager
Act as the shift manager as or when the current manager is away from the business.

Previous production or manufacturing team-leading experience
Experience in the sheet metal industry (preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
