Job Description
Properly and safely load/unload delivery truck, trailer and/or customer vehicles while maintaining product integrity
Read and understand customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas with forklift
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
Assist in counting of physical inventory and responsible for accuracy in count
Ability to operate machinery within warehouse for trim fabrication as needed
Maintaining warehouse to company standards of safety and cleanliness
Wear the proper safety equipment
Assist, learn and become efficient in every position within the Depots organization to include Credit and Sales positions
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
