Health And Safety Advisor

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our clients growing team, focusing on providing comprehensive support and expertise across a range of construction projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all our projects comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

H&S Support: Provide practical and technical health and safety support to various construction clients. This includes conducting site visits, safety assessments, and developing action plans to enhance health and safety performance.

Management System Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety Management Systems for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Compliance Audits: Perform compliance evaluations and audits to ensure construction projects meet all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, and prepare detailed reports for clients.

Documentation and Reporting: Create clear, detailed, and professional health and safety reports for clients, highlighting compliance issues and recommendations for improvement.

Legislative Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest health and safety legislation and industry developments to ensure clients are informed and compliant with all relevant laws and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in health and safety roles within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards applicable to construction projects.
Experience in developing and implementing Health and Safety Management Systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client engagement.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a history of delivering exceptional customer service.

IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification would be advantageous but no essential.
