Small Group Teaching Assistant

CERT Solutions are proud to work in a partnership with local schools in and around the West Midlands area, specialising in flexible day cover, short/long term work and contracted/permanent roles.

We are currently working with a small independent SEN school who are looking for 2 x Intervention Teaching Assistants with experience working with young people with additional needs.

You would be supporting secondary students between 11-16 with English and Maths working at lower levels.

(The school is a small, independent school for children with ASD and anxiety. With only 26 children on roll they are able to offer a very calm, quiet and nurturing environment to work.)

Must have general knowledge of SEN with a calming nature. Ideal candidate should hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar.

About the role:

* 2 x Intervention Teaching Assistants

* Full Time ASAP start (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30)

* Supporting students with English and Maths

* Long Term ongoing – option to go permanent for right candidate

* General knowledge and experience with SEN required
