Job Description Construction Trainee/Apprentice
As a Construction Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills across various aspects of construction, including but not limited to Health & Safety, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Design, Site Management and On-Site Skills. You will work in the site offices and on-site under the supervision of qualified Managers and tradespeople and participate in both on-the-job training and formal education.
Construction Trainee Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in various construction tasks as directed by Management, supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
* Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Work Within all aspects of the Construction Workplace.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
* Participate in training sessions and complete coursework related to the apprenticeship program.
* Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to the required standards.
* Perform any additional tasks as required to support the construction team.
Requirements:
* Genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction.
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic understanding of health and safety practices (training will be provided).
* Minimum qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
* Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
