Job Description:
The company is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor or a Trainee Estimator with experience in windows, doors, and curtain walling to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will support the projects from inception to completion, assisting with cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
Responsibilities:
Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for windows, doors, and curtain walling projects
Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules
Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements for materials and labor
Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within budget and timeline
Assist with contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts
Support senior quantity surveyors and project managers as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Experience or coursework in windows, doors, and curtain walling projects
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction industry software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam)
