The successful Production Planner will be responsible for:
Oversee, organise, adapt, and oversee the manufacturing plan for a designated production line within the factory.
Ensure adherence to key milestones throughout the product lifecycle and assume accountability for ensuring a smooth production launch process.
Skilfully manage customer expectations while optimizing production capabilities.
Regularly assess line performance and effectively communicate any arising issues to the management team.
Coordinate with production control to address line-related issues such as shortages, prioritization, escalations, and opportunities for enhancements.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance on-time delivery and elevate service levels for our clientele.
Utilise MRP consistently to streamline both upstream and downstream processes.
Champion change initiatives and propose enhancements to existing procedures.
The successful Production Planner will have:
Experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
An Understanding of production processes, capacity planning, inventory management, and supply chain dynamics
A proactive approach and drive continuous improvement
Excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
